I got around to taking some pictures today. Here they go.
    https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil.../5/Josh007.jpg

And this is the one of my dragon tat. I will be hopefully getting a wizard on the other arm soon if the artist is going to give me the same awsome deal I got with the dragon. Sometimes it pays to know the artist ex GF. But at the time they were dating so I duno if the same deal will hold true LOL Real nice guy though and enjoys his work. He is also the owner and drew the dragon for me custom to fit my arm.

I just noticed there was some spots on the mirror when I took the pics. Oh well ignore those please LOL

    Nice dragon!

Did you do the art on that? How bout the wizard?

How bout synchronicity - "wizard with the magic runes" just cued up on the mp3 player lol.

I'm amazed we still have this thread going - tribute to you all for making this such a great community

Re: Let's get this up & running again
Thanks Smulkin. No I didn't draw it. I am not artisticly inclined. The artist that does the tats drew it. I told hime what I wanted and this was the first drawing he did for me. He will be drawing the wizard too. He had one drawn for me already, but he didn't hit the mark with it and that was a while ago. Some runes would be cool to add in there too, but I would have to do some reseach on that. Do not want to place anything on my body that I don't know what it means. Smulkin do you have eny experience with Runes? LOL I will add pictures of the wizard if and when he materializes.

    Thanks Cassandra.

I plan to eventualy incorperate my chest and upper back into one flowing picture combining the wizard and dragon. I am thinking Castle with wizards and dragon on the chest in a peace scene and on the back almost a mirror image in a battle scene, but I haven't decided yet. This is also going to have to take into account if Darick is willing to still give me the discount or not. He did the dragon for $100 and took him 2.5 hours. If he charged me normal it would have cost $400-$500. I can;t spend that kind of cash yet. LOL I can handle 100 a year though LOL

haha thanks - strangely enough I don't recall picking up a guitar until Junior year of high school... yet going back through photos I have a picture of myself at like 2,4,5,7,8,9, and 11 all with guitars - how bizarre is that? Guess I always loved the thing whether I recognized it or not.

have been in a few and did audio engineering and production stuff for a bit in Nashville. Currently I'm just working my way through learning all "The Darkness" tunes and guitar solos haha. So no band for now but I'm always up to play and plan on recording some more stuff once I get the money for my Powerbook studio. (give me like 2 years to get all the stuff I need haha)

Re: Let's get this up & running again
Right on! Mine's an old Ibanez RG series but I swapped out the bridge position for a Jeff Beck Signature humbucker, switched the center to a single coil old school 50's strat (surf rock era strat) and then put in an old school 50 something humbucker in the neck. It's sort of a version of the old soapbar pickups.

basically it sounds amazing for jazz in the neck - good for surf and country in the middle and great for overdriven tube rock in the bridge.

anyway hopefully someday I can get a Gibson ES 335 I like to play jazz and rock.

oh I have a pretty nice Martin accoustic as well worked my butt off for it. I'll post pictures sometime soon!

I have a Gibson SG and a Gibson melody maker.. oh and a Fender Precision bass that I really would like to dig out again.

Re: Let's get this up & running again
The bridge of mine is a Seymour Duncan "Custom Custom" ... It's a 15k rating! killer for metal! And the neck is an old 70's Dimarzio Distortion. What kinda amp you got? I'm using a Yamaha DG-130 head, with a late 70's Marshall 4x12 cab with Celestion Vintage 30's. Alan Holdsworth, Chris Poland, Doyle Bramhall (I own the head he used on the Roger Waters tour) and Richie Kotzen use them. I've had countless praises for one of the best metal tones my friends have ever heard. Haha even the old school vintage guys at my work are totally in shock of the tone I get!

Re: Let's get this up & running again
I'm using a Fender Twin currently because of the versatility though rather than the lead channel I use an old Ibanez tube screamer to a MXR compressor to the amp. that MXR sounds great on country licks too though I don't really play those since I left nashville. I also love to toy with my new Line 6 delay modeler it's way too much fun. should probably be illegal. I'm hoping to get a marshall at some point. Your gear is killer! I'll have to consult you before I purchase any more guitar materials.

Re: Let's get this up & running again
What ya could do is get a JCM 800 or a JCM 2000 DSL ... Not the TSL. The TSL sucks. Too many knobs, too much stuff to get in the way of your signal. That's why Eddie Van Halen only had 1 knob! So here's what ya can do. Get a Marshall for a killer OD sound, and use your Fender for your clean sound, and get an A/B switch. That way you get that killer clean Fender tone, and click over to the killer Marshall tone. Also, if youre on a budget, Guild Starfires are the most underrate semi hollow bodies arround. You can get one for like 895.00 on up. As where a 335 will cost ya atleast 1700.00. All depends on originality of course.
