Re: My Corn collection (pic heavy)
Our first baby of 2020 has hatched and looks like surprise double hets were hidden in the parents. I was expecting miamis and Miami tesseras. I believe this one is a cinder motley Miami.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...10ee725d0f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f7a4e90d85.jpg

Re: My Corn collection (pic heavy)
Doing some more feeding trials to see what a corn will or won't eat. She went for the raw chicken first then came back for the scrambled eggs.

Eggs hot? I know they will eat fresh eggs. Didn't think I had to take them out of the shell :O

I'm finding it varies by individual animals. Different factors play a role in their willingness to accept new foods. This girl was a 2yo and only fed fuzzies. She acts like every meal is her last. Also when I'm doing a trial with her I keep using the same dish and box lid so she knows this new smell is food. She has taken mice, rats, asf, quail, chicks, button and cortunix eggs, ground raw venison, raw chicken, and scrambled eggs. Next I might move onto shrimp and fish. I have other corns that will take whole eggs and chicks. Some who only want mice and nothing else. Another one of mine turned down the scrambled eggs.

Re: My Corn collection (pic heavy)
They had cooled 10-15mins. I have a large surplus of eggs so I scramble a bunch to feed the rodents sometimes.

But keep in mind, that neither raw chicken nor cooked eggs are a complete & balanced diet for a snake...they evolved eating whole animals, no matter whether we like it or not. This might be OK for an occasional substitution if you're out of rodents & waiting for your order to ship, but I wouldn't make it a habit.

You are correct. I had posted the same thing on Instagram but with the disclaimer below and forgot to add it here.

The top one is honey (caramel sunkissed) bloodred (diffused and masque) Miami. He is also het cinder which shows as a visual similar to axanthic in carpet pythons. I held back a male last year that looks like him and got an unexpected repeat clutch a few days ago.
The bottom one is a golddust which is caramel and ultramel. Ultra and amel are allelic with each other so technically she is a caramel het ultra & het amel.

I love your corn snakes! And I'm trying very hard not to "hate" you, lol. ;)

Oh my goodness, I'm so jealous. You have some really gorgeous snakes. That honey bloodred miami is unreal! Another thing to add to the buck list.

I think those will always be my favorite- I bred some in the past & still have one (age 22). Just love their deep colors & dark borders. "Abbot's" is another one you'd like- very similar.
