Best in the (AFC) West! Broncos sent the Cheifs packing with a now 1-10 record yesterday. That's in you face, KC!:D

Lol, the pats are a pet team? What are the other pet teams? Are you suggesting the NFL is rigged? Id say the refs do a pretty good job most of the time. Theyre humans so they will make some mistakes every once in awhile though. Clearly they made one there. You cant hate the player for doing his job and playing until the whistle though. My team is HATED by mostly everyone who isnt a pats fan. Youre either a fan or you hate them bc theyre good and theyve been good for so long. Thats not how it works for most other teams. If anything theres probably more bogus calls that go against us bc of that kinda bias.

I'm so tired I can't form the proper thoughts but I keep seeing him on first take and with out the helmet on it makes me laugh. An sounds like they had a rough night against the giants.

I never once said anything negative about Forsett. Of course he was just doing his job. It's the zebras that I/we have a ongoing problem with. How many times are the Lions going to be the leagues guinea pigs for these extremely odd rules that nobody gets called on, except Det.? For example, the "Calvin Johnson rule" and the newly acquired "Jim Schwartz rule". Goodell & Co. will be changing the "Schwartz rule", soon. Seriously, do the refs have a rule book especially for Detroit, called "Uncanny rules nobody ever gets called on, know about, or understand:Lions Edition"?? :confusd: Not to mention Suh getting double held (holding) almost every single play. No wonder he gets pissed off, no flag...ever!! Stafford took 7-8 unnecessary shots, Thursday. 3 of them while sliding. Again, NO FLAGS! See if Brady, Rodgers, or the Manning bros. would get that kind of treatment! Um, probably (certainly) not! These issues need to be addressed by the NFL, considering they are all about keeping the athletes safe, right?! You'd think so... NFL=Not For Lions. The Suh "stomp II" is just ridiculous and beaten over the heads of NFL fans. If any other team had a goofy/quirky incident like that, I guarantee everyone would just joke/laugh about it. 'Nuff said. Time for lunch.

Don't agree with fining him for that he hit him in the numbers to start then slid up. Nothing happened to stafford and those hits happen all the time if they start flagging and fining people for that would be dumb, I think they would like to slowly get hitting out of the game have the NFFL (national flag football league :) h

Staffy got popped on the chin. Helmet to helmet, in my book. At least they are reviewing more than Suh's dog-peeing stance! The Lions outplayed the Texans, hands down! We just couldn't outplay the refs. I think refs should be held accountable for f-ing up just like the players do. Imagine that, a fair game! 3-7 refs/judges around at all times, and nobody sees anything? C'mon man...

They need to just put flags on the qb's and be done with it. these personal foul penalties are called so lopside it ruins games. if they even breath on brady or manning it's an automatic flag yet you see other guys getting mauled and nothing.

Terrell Suggs vs Skip on first take is funny. And I just want less flags period I hate watching a game where the refs are throwing flags every play

I would, but I don't live in Iowa anymore. The closest Det. came to us was the Philly game. Otherwise I'd be all for it! \m/ \m/

What you all think of the Monday night game if anyone's watching it? Not great teams playing but i never watch either one so have to watch. I feel as tho Cam should be a better Qb then he is like he was rookie of the year last year but seems like the sophomore slump has hit him good

Cam is to worried about cam. Dude gets blown out in games yet still does his "superman" deal. But he had a good game on Monday so I'm sure everyone will be back on the bandwagon.....until next week.

Defiantly, thing that gets me is all the channels talking about how it's hard to lose a young player and how tough it is on the team.
The guy is murderer and left his child without any parents any sympathy should be for the girlfriend, child and family?

I agree what he did was a terrible act with his mom and child in the house my sympathy isn't much for him because hes the cause, I feel bad for the people who he committed the acts in front of, and for the familys he's now hurt. Just a sad situation all around.

I hope pats open up like they did last week against the texans with some big defensive plays. Im hoping this week will be more of a game though. If the niners keep it close it forces brady, welker, woodhead, and hernandez to do work for my fantasy team haha. Overall its the W irl that matters more for me though!

I hate to say this, being a Pats fan for 3 plus decades and living in GA where I hardly get to see them, but I chose to spend most of yesterday afternoon watching the Vikings game. It was so much better then watching the Pats beat up on Miami in December...again...been there and done that!!!:D:D
