I don't know if you can, but it's worth checking.

By shipper I meant the company doing the actual transporting, not the bozo who sent you, hopefully, your snakes.

Keep us updated, I really hope everything arrives ok. I don't really see how anybody could be so stupid to shipping animals.

I was going to post this, I have done it with UPS before. I hope everything works out for you.

Ya, that sounds like the best course of action. Just call and explain to them that you NEED to get that box speeded up.... Hope everything turns out well for you can you get your pair of nice, heathly spiders.

I hate to say this but I think you will receive a package with nothing in it or maybe just useless weight. The way things seem to be going with this guy I highly doubt he sent the snakes. I think he just wanted you off his back for five days. I hope I'm wrong and that everything goes well and you receive your spiders in perfect health.

I tried this and called UPS and was told that once they have a packages sent out on a service level they don't have a procedure in place to upgrade or downgrade the shipping method. So all I can do now is hope they're ok and arrive safe. I will be video taping my opening the box when it gets here on Tuesday.

Call them back. Tell them there is a live animal in the box that will die if they can't help you out. A suggestion would be to call Robyn @ Pro Exotics. He has a contract with UPS for shipyourreptiles and likely has an account rep who can help him out. Maybe he would be willing to make a call. Just a thought. Don't give up though. Do what you can to save the animals (if there are any in there at all).

If you didn't talk to a supervisor, do so now. Explain that the kid sent live animals ground and that they'll be dead when they get there if nothing is done.

Don't talk to a flunky, they have no pull.
