Just a heads up when feeding live rabbits if the snake doesnt get them right alot of times the rabbits will use there back legs to kick the snakes and there claws will cut right into them. Most of my animals eat f/t rabbits but I do have some that will only take live and what I do with these guys is right after the coil the rabbit I grab the rabbits back legs and hold them until the rabbit is dead that way the rabbit does not harm the snake.
I agree great song. Amy lee is gorgeous. lol. I don't have any huge snakes, but I do the same with the few that will only eat live. I will get a pen or something and hold the mouse's mouth away from the snake. Although I was unsuccessful once :( But it was ok. :)

Well, I'm 5', so I'm sure I can fit in there. Have you seen the cages denial keeps his snakes in? I think he keeps them in vision 6x3's(same thing my burm is in). I always heard the rule was 1 square foot of floor space for every foot of snake, but lately I have been hearing 1.5 sq ft of space for every 1 foot of snake. Even so, lets do the math, 8 * 1.5 = 12. 6 * 2 = 12. Many people keep adult burms and retics in AP 6x3's or vision 6x3's.
I do see an issue with having that screen door though.

I'm not lecturing anybody, just stating my preferences. I like big enclosures, and that's my choice. I like to give my snakes options that aren't available in a "one side hot - one side cool" enclosure. They appreciate it, I'm sure.
