Sorry guys, but I'm not a beard fan. If you can pull off a goatee and I approve, then that's alright. And I'm ok with a little scruff (if it looks ok), but not much. But other than that, keep it clean!

And I have to ask, what's so special about neck beards?

I let it grow for awhile then I usually shave it (and regret it) and let it grow in again. When I don't have a beard I feel naked and exposed

You look kinda intimidating in that picture! It looks like you can see the veins in your arms if you look close...

^^^I read that to my wife and she was convinced I posted it! I love to grow facial hair but then when I want to get a kiss I gotta shave!

I've maintained a goatee since I was 15. I occasionally will cut it all off to let it grow back a new but that is only once in a blue moon and I can regrow it in a week. I want to grow a full beard but I am genetically predisposed to bold spots near my chin until I am about 25 :(.

Thanks-lol :gj: That was actually just a fun picture my 3 year old wanted to take. I have the real pic on the cpu somewhere. You are actually seeing the outlines to all my tattoo's I think. I am 266lbs. so you can't see any of my veins-lol. Wish I was 266 and ripped though :gj:

Haha, I know what you mean. My wife will still give me a kiss every now and then but then she makes a funny face followed by some smart alec comment. Eventually I'll take the hint and get rid of it. But in the mean time, I'm makin a statement...

I voted the 4th option. But really it's 3 and 4. I love the look of my beard but I hate the way it feels and the maintenance. My facial hair is very course. I call it my "steel wool."

I also like the look and feel of a clean shave but I am too damn lazy to shave every day.

So what happens is I'll spend a week or 2 shaving and then get tired of it and let it grow out for about a month till I get tired of it or irritated and shave it off. Then the cycle repeats.

I have two kids. One with my wife (the younger one) and one older from another girl. Both are boys. Me and my wife are hoping our next one is a little girl. I am just NOT looking forward to her dating  and I am really not looking forward to changing a little girls diaper. I am actually not changing it unless I have no other choice. Luckily my wife already knows that it weirds me and and has no problem with it...

I usually have a pretty long beard that I trim every few weeks. I do hate having to shampoo my entire head though and also have to condition the beard when it starts to get long.
