On Kigsnake in the classifieds there is a butterblast (Butter x Pinstripe). If you call this pastel buttebee" a queenbee", then this butterblast should be called a kingpin. I think this snake deserves a different name then Queenbee. Maybe i am just showing favortism because i like butters more then lessers.

I agree. Ralph told me a few months ago that lessers and butters, although they are genetically very similar (if not the same) came from two different lines of his. The lesser platinum is from his Platty Daddy, and is more creamy while the butter is from his Butter Daddy line and is definitely more yellow. If that's the case, then in order to keep both lines separate, the butter bumblebee has to be called something other than a queen bee. --Or else the follow up question to every purchase will be "Is this queen bee from a butter lineage or a lesser?" And, I could see where the line of demarkation between butter and lesser will get very smudged, if it isn't already.

i agree it should be name differently. as queenbee are from lesser. just like the confusion on black pastel & cinnamon.. silver streak & sterling..

spider x pastel = spider, pastel & BumbleeBee.
Spider x butter = Spider, Butter & Sputter

BumbleeBee X butter = Spider, pastel, butter, Sputter & "SputterBee"

im guessing its a SputterBall.. or a SputterBee.
