Re: Introducing
Okkkkk..... Help..... I have a eatign question..... I got my little guy Rios two and a half almost three weeks ago. When I first brought him home, he was eating like a champ. He was eating two hoppers every 3-4 days. So last monday I bumped him up to an adult mouse. He had no issues eating it. That was eight days ago. He has refused food since that last feeding. His eyes are not blue. He only weights 109 grams and is only 19.5 inches long, so shoudl I be worried that he is not eating yet? I have tried offereing him hoppers again to see if he would hit something smaller, but to no avail.

Naw.... he does not look like he is about to shed? I have two garters that i am use to seeing cloud up.... but Rios doe not look like that. He has not shed yet though since I crought him home from Petco, and they do not keep history on their snakes. So I have no clue when his last shed was.....:taz:

Ok.... I set a hopper on a napkin partially covered by one of his hides twenty minutes ago... mouse has disappeared !!!!! So now I have gone ahead and put an adult mouse on the napkin... hopefully he eats that one too....

Re: Introducing
Not a very big meal for not having eaten in eight days,... but a meal at least.
