How do you feed?

So far, mine all eat F/T...as hard as they hit them, I'm not sure my boys know they're dead. I'm sure as our collection grows, we'll run into one that will only eat live, and I have no problems with that. I jump that creek when I get there though.

Yeah, there should be both. My bps eat live but my hognose eats pre-killed.

it would be a paint to thaw and unpackage so many F/T if they are a breeder with 40+ snakes. live feeding from there breeding tub is the easiest id presume

Actually, now that I've re-read his post, I realize I screwed up and looked at it too fast. I thought he was saying too many snakes feed on F/T, like there's a ratio we should be keeping track of. Now that I've slown down and read it correctly, I realize he has too many to feed F/T. Sorry for my confusion.

I feed f/t, cheaper and easier and my girl has the feeding response of a rtb, never had any issues with feeding so far(knock on wood).

I fed live once, because that was what she was on before I got her. The one time my feeder supplier was out of stock of the size of frozen feeder I was looking for, I bought live and fed p/k.

All four of mine eat live. I get great feeding responses and it's safe.

F/T but I also do live for the sheer pleasure of watching those little turds die. ......did I mention I hate mice?
