if there is anything better than let me know. i am looking to get a sand like substrate.
    please let me know.

Ralph I have read about Desert Snow in many different threads on this site, almost anyone on this site will recommend, aspen, coconut, desert snow, newspaper or paper towel.

I personally wanted to use the desert snow but it is pricey compared to aspen, So i went with aspen in my 20gL tank, got a huge bag for 20$

I would say, if the desert snow is in your price range, then do it, it would look cool seeing your ivory girl disappear in it!!!! :gj:

Here's a thread on substrate, might help clear some questions up!

Heck I wouldnt care what the kid called it I would gladly call it mine. especially for that price lol. Most of the time when someone is given a morph its a pastel or one of the lower end snakes not an ivory. I will gladly take her off your hands lol. :D

Desert Snow is a great substrate, and I've used it off and on. It's a little pricey, but other than that, it works just fine .

Weren't you asking how much you could get for this snake in a two year old thread you pulled up outta' now where? Are you going to keep and care for this BP? The tone of that other thread sounded like you were looking to sell it off?

I love Ivories. I bought a pair of Yellow Bellies so i can make some. But im mixing them with albino first to get rid of the grey. I think an Albino Ivory would be awesome. Would look like a yellow headed Leucistic.

It's turned out that there are many different ways to make a white snake, the various lines all have their strong points. Ivories have that nice purple and gold stripe down their backs, however that tends to disappear as they get older and they get whiter and whiter. Desert snow is a good substrate but it's kind of expensive. They also make it dyed different colors like yellow and purple and it can make for a pretty interesting display cage.

yea i'm not worried about the price of the substrate i actually think its cheap. i just wanted to make sure that its safe for her.

I am currently not planning to sell her. I just wanted to see what she was worth. I thought she was a true lucy, black eye, red pupil, and I saw somewhere that they are worth $6,000 so i wanted to check on that and I ran into this site, but now since I know that she is an Ivory i know that she is between $1000 - $2000.
