At around 2:10 you still hear the chick chirping even after it went down...

Boy, this guy sure is one responsible snake owner. Feeding a large burm a baby chick on a kitchen table

Did you even think about what could have happened? Such as the chick pecking/biting the snake on the way down possible seriously injuring it?

He should have never placed it in there. He could have gotten bit shoving the chick in there.

Did you not see the rats tail in the beginning of the video? It was CLEARLY in the process of swallowing a rat when he placed the chick in there.

    Hmmm...
You're right, I did not see the tail.
I though the snake itself caught the chick in that manner.
    That changes things.

    You're right.
    Point taken.
    Touche.
    My bad.

As long as you're willing to admit your mistakes, there is no harm:gj:

I still go back to the fact that this is a large snake. Find me a large snake that will refuse FT! Again, emphasis on the animal is in feeding mode. In nature rodents and other things are eaten after being bit and coiled. That is the circle of life, shoving something live in is completely wrong. I know venom admitted his mistake, but this video still has me confused as to why the camera man is still breathing himself.

I wrote him a comment, saying something like "videos like these give our hobby a bad name ... blah blah ... very irresponsible and inhumane, etc." He sent me an e-mail back saying, "wtf are you talking about? People love watching this stuff!" (expletives were not removed in the e-mail) I chose not to respond to him, as A: he's right; there are a lot of sick people out there that don't have any issues with watching something like that, and B: It probably doesn't matter what I might say to him, I doubt he would be willing to change his opinions on the matter.

I hope one day he wakes up, and GROWS UP.

Mind, people like these have no rationality. Arguing is doing nothing. IMHO I think not posting or emailing this guy is best. (feel free to do what you like, it's a free country) He knows lots of people have viewed this and now is getting comments. It's just motivating him to produce more of this crap.
