I know it gets confusing, especially with names like "cinnamon pastel", "black pastel", and what I consider the REAL pastels(lemon pastel, graziani line pastel, blonde pastel etc)
Cinnamons(formerly known as cinnamon pastels, most people don't use the 2nd word anymore since it is confusing) and "Black pastels" are mutations with genes that occur on the same allele, pretty much different lines of the same kind of mutation.

No.....there are a few ways to make pewters. Here are the two most common ways:
pastel X cinnamon (which can produce normals, pastels, cinnys, and pewters - some refer to these pewters as cinny pewters or pewters from cinny lineage)
pastel X black pastel (which can produce normals, pastels, black pastels, and pewters - some refer to these pewters as black pewters or pewters from black pastel lineage)
