Does this look like a pastel to you?

From the original picture, I would say it's a pastel for certain. The browning areas showing over the lower yellow tells me that it's a browned out pastel.
You should NEVER alter a picture for color then ask for a opinion on status. There's no reason to 'enhance' the color in a picture when you're trying to determine if it's a pastel. It actually contradicts the reason for posting a picture at all.
With pastels so down in price, you should really try for a quality pastel so you get bright babys. When you could get a super high quality pastel for about the same price or just a little more, it would pay you in the long run to go ahead and find a better speciman.
