*Sigh* I miss having kitties in the house. I've had a lot in the past, five at once when I was married, but we believe Ari is allergic to them. So, even though he loves cats, I have to wait until we have a place with a yard I can enclose and cat-proof to own another.
Just because I think they were all great, here are four of the five I owned last...
If by relatively tame you mean they like to play rough! then yes! lol. I don't like to go in there with Delilah especally because her mate died in Jan of '07, and ever since then she will be fine one minute, then the next she will just snap. Shamira's a lot more docile, but when she wants to play, she'll bat at you with her paws. And playing rough with a 400-700 lb animal (Shamira's 600lbs, believe it or not) means bloody noses and such. They really don't realize just how big they are, or how fragile us humans can be. We can't bring wheelbarrels around Shamira at all anymore, because when she was a kitten, the kids would put her in a wheel barrel and give her a ride around the yard. Well, now that she's full grown, as soon as she see's one she'll hop in it and want to go for a ride, but she ends up breaking it under her weight.
LOL! I was expecting you to say she attacks the wheelbarrel, not want to go for a ride:rofl:
Well this little girl is supposed to be my boyfriends sisters cat. But considering he's had her for over 3 years instead of the 30 days as first requested I'd say she's more his now. lol
And she's a huge pain in the butt. Since she is no longer let outside (after two different times breaking her leg jumping the fence) she meows constantly. The only time she is not meowing is when she is eating. She even does it softly while sleeping. But we still love her but we just wear earplugs sometimes. lol
