My wife picked up a fogger about a week ago because we were having humidity problems. Well, the same day I picked up some ECO Earth. Well the ECO Earth took care of the humidity problem.

What kind of plants do you have in your bp cage?

What kind of substrate do you use? Or do you keep the plants in pots, as opposed to planting them in the substrate?

I've been thinking about putting live plants in my tanks but have no idea how to go about it?

    Thanks!

I just received my fogger that I ordered on the net. I did have some difficulties with humidity in a glass tank, but I was able to control the humidity with a damp rag over part of the screen, just rehydrated the rag every morning and changed the rag every couple of days.

I now have my fogger on a timer and have set the amount of fog to be released in 15min intervals every hour and a half. The base is on the outside of the tank and the tube that provides the fog is placed through the screen about half an inch in the tank. This has been working great for me as a maintenance-free method of controlling the humidity, just have to add water when it runs out. And as someone posted, I use reverse osmosis water, something with a low mineral salt content, not tap water.

I don't believe you need a fogger but it is a fun addition, nothing more than a new toy.

I use fogger for mine and it really works without a problem, I had humidity issuse for a while and then some research and noticed that fogger was ok for the BP, I got it and have it set on a timmer, so mine now sits prefect at the correct temp!

My one is a zoo med repti fogger, cheap and cool lookng to.
