Riokeshen, I just want you too look it at from from our perspective. 40 minutes ago you posted a thread asking for $300.00 because your snake got out of the tub it was in and something happened to snake where it ended up getting its back broken. Its complete common sense. If I have to even soak my snake from a bad shed or whatever, I have to have the lid ready to put on top or she's out when I turn around. Then 40 minutes later you now say " we couldn't even get pictures of the one that had to be put down". I don't know about you, but you have been replying pretty quickly so I'm pretty sure you still have the snake and it hasn't been put down yet.

If you haven't noticed, people don't come on here asking for money. I have seen threads where people have refused money that was being offered and have even proved there case.

are serious would you go to see your ball python be put down? my dad and mom are gone to do that and plus if I could I would raise the money my self I don't any ones help.........it's just me and my drawings again......don't you see I wouldn't put it down if I had the money my mom is the one who opened the fund I didn't for all i know she could be just using the fund for her self and not my BP.....for all i know she could not even care...no one cares.....I ran away for 2 days once and stayed over my best friends house and they didn't even care.....and....and...never mind I wont post if thats what you want.....bye I wont be on for a while....

You sound like a great kid. I was addopted too!!! Never believe anyone who tells you that you are stupid. You can do anything you put your heart and mind to. I'm sorry for your loss, but keep on reading these threads and learning all you can about these amazing animals. Best of luck friend.

This all goes back to the most basic aspect of pet ownership; if you can't afford it - including having the (reasonable) financial security for food, equipment and unforeseen vet bills - don't get it.

I'm very sorry for what happened to your snake. Hopefully this will be a life-lesson for you in the future, not only with pet-ownership, but with life. All actions have consequences, and occasionally it is another person who has to pay the price for what you do. Try to think of this situation along those lines.

For what it's worth, there really isn't much we can do here for the snake. To me this sounds more like a cry for help, and it wouldn't kill anyone to treat her like the 13 year old that she is.

the story about the snakes being removed from the car, beaten, and then the perpetrators disappearing within minutes RIGHT OUTSIDE the vet's office

sounds like a fabrication. I don't buy it, sorry

Nobody has to 'buy' this story.

Nobody needs to agree or disagree with the situation.

Everybody ought to try to read between the lines however and post responses accordingly and with empathy...
