And I read something about not handling after feeding, how long should I wait before handling after feeding?

24 hrs minimum wait. I wait 48 hrs, just to be sure, since I have a few sensitive corns. :)

Yep I wait a minimum of 48 hours too - longer if it was a larger meal than they were used to.

Not sure if you are still between stats or not but I use the Johnson also, I work for a heating and Air company so I get the Johnson stat and wire them up with the grounded power cord and power strip.
