Been keeping snakes for about 15 years. I've always had at least one ball python.
I have never been bit by a Ball, but have been bit by Corns,Rats, Kings and Milksnakes.
Every time I've been bitten its been my fault, obviously I've not learned from my mistakes lol

I've never been bit by my own snakes (yet). But, I work at a pet store and i've been bitten at work by a corn snake and a BP, and i got tagged at the NC expo yesterday by a leusistic texas rat snake who was super stressed out. :)

I know in the case of a guy I know he had a fairly large retic get out of it's cage and get into the ceiling tiles (it was a low ceiling in the basement.) He had a hard time trying to get her out of there.

I think I went maybe 6 months without getting bitten. I went to move a bottle cap out of the way of my first ball slithering around on my desk and he reacted with a defensive strike. I found this to be really amusing as I'd been dealing with a young carpet python which would strike every time i went near him or opened the cage for at least a month. He grew out of it after figuring out I wasn't going to hurt time...he was a scared baby.

I wish I could be a part of this cool club, but I've been tagged numerous times in my life...none by a ball python though.
