Re: I wish people would think first!
UGH there is a person posting on craigslist here in MD saying that she has a few rabbits that she got for Easter but her son is deathy scared of them and that she needs to get rid of asap or she's just going to dump them in the woods. BUT she is asking a $100 "adoption" fee for each one. WTF?!
A lady I work with is trying to get her to give them up for nothing before she just lets them go to get killed or die a long death out of the woods.
I hate people at times!

A $100 each what is she smoking .
Re: I wish people would think first!
She probably got then free or next to nothing from a farmers market around here and thought she could make a few hundred off. So she posted threating there lives to make people feel sorry for them. It's not working, it's got everyone very mad and trying to get these rabbits away from her. People never stop amazing me with what they will do to make a quick dollar. >.<

There actually are many breeders that do this very thing.
Just think of how many people could be fed by all of these dumped rabbits too, instead of putting them in rescues who are already full... :hungry:
