I live in Northern Georgia....(2 hour drive to TN, and or SC/NC border and 3 hours to the Florida border. I love it here! Yes Hot and Humid weather, not so cold winters, except it is this past week. Just 3 weeks ago, we had 80 degree weather in Dec!!! I have lived in Oceanside California - Aurora, Illinois - Maryland, Virginia(near MD, and DC)

I took that findmyspot quiz, apparently I am destined for arkansas, tennessee, mississippi, New Mexico and some good ol Louisiana! But mostly Arkansas, it came up like 8 times lol!

Chris had mostly Texas, but we were pretty interested in New Mexico. All four seasons, mild weather, sounds good to me.

But I had to re think my original response, anywhere in the world? Japan is my top pick. Then Crete, then Egypt. Just for the culture and landscape mostly. I could do without the violence surrounding the middle east. :)

I personally love Florida. After living in Erie, PA for the first 15 years of my life, I know snow and I hate it. The only bad season is Summer, which is opposite in the north(only good season is summer). It is very hot and humid during the summer. It also rains everyday, veyr hard, but only for maybe an hour then it sunny again. In November - April it is 60-80 degrees around 60-70% humidity.

I can't tell you how much I love being able to wear shorts and a shirt all year round. Its all ways nice outside. It is literally ALWAYS sunny. You get maybe 1 day every 3 months where it is cloudy.

I eventually will live in Tampa, which I think is one of the best cities in FL.

    And perfect snake weather.

One thing I forgot to mention is that everything down here is a little more expensive. Not Cali expensive, but higher then normal. Ave apartment is usually 500-850 for a 1 bed. 800-1500ish for a 2 bed. Ranch style houses with 3 beds, 2 bath, pool, garage usually run around 150-400k.

    Gas is 3.15.

Average pay around here more then makes up for it. Target cashiers make $9.50 starting, so if you got some good experience and education you could find a great job down here easy, since it is always expanding.

Just in my local area there have been 2-3 new High schools built just to keep up the demands for the influx of people.

And as Nathen said, the drivers are TERRIBLE.....I feel like I am back in Ohio......

Funny you ask that question because I saw in the news a few days ago about a survey that was done in Canada to figure out what city had the happiest people.

    http://www.cbc.ca/canada/newfoundlan...-atlantic.html

My city is #1 BABY! WOOOO! I'm SOOOO happy to live next to a Nuclear Power Plant, and LNG Terminal and a hand full of different Irving Refineries. It must be the Moosehead Brewery that makes people so happy in this city. That or Mr (Oil) Irving paid off whoever did this survery to attract people here.

But in any case, SAINT JOHN, NB is the BEST place to live.
and Moncton NB which is like 1h and 1/2 drive away is tied for 4th, so we NBers must be really happy people.

So come on over to NB and do some whale watchin and eat some seaweed! Then you'll agree, we are the best place in the World to live.

Yea... trying to get away from snow. Lived here for 22 years. Had enough of it. I'm moving far south/southwest baby! My skin color demands more sun!!! I'm supposed to look like an Indian, not an Eskimo!
