    Gooseman
Re: Why are you who you are???
I got my nickname when I was 15 years old and a friends farm hand over heard me talking about a goose hunting trip, and then in the most cliche southern accent hollered out to my friends father (who raises geese), "We got ourselves a gooseman here, Mr. Hinkel, better hide the flock". It has forever stuck...

Re: Why are you who you are???
I picked up the nickname Lady in college. Whipple is my last name. So everyone called me Lady Whipple the whole first year in the dorms (apparently Lynn was harder to remember than Whipple   ).

Anyway, most people just call me Lady anymore---all my friends, even the people at work are starting to. Kinda wierd... but whatever!

Oh, yeah... '02 is the year I graduated high school.

I work in Television, so I see a lot of obscure programs. Needless to say about 10 years ago they did a re-make of Secret Agent Man. The lead character's agent name was "Monk". During one episode (which takes place in Japan..no bearing on the story) "monk" had to retrieve some various spy equipment from a snack machine. He typed "90222" in the keypad and got the equipment that he needed. So Monk90222 was born.

    hoo-t
Re: Why are you who you are???
While sitting at my desk at work a long, long time ago, a lady that I worked with looked at me and said, "you look like a hootie!" Well, I don't even know what a hootie looks like, but it sorta stuck. I figured I had been called a lot worse, so what the heck. I started an e-mail account with hoo-t as my username, and now I use it for just about everything online. That was at least ten years ago. I still use that e-mail account as my primary e-mail, too.

Hmm... hootie - hottie - hootie - hottie ?!?!? Nah!!!!
