Re: to those of you who have a large boa
Heh, working at a zoo...most likely the Denver or Woodland Park, to get good brownie points and experience for grants for a refuge are the Main reasons I'm putting up with getting a Bio degree right now :) Stupid Chemistry...
Working at the E.P. Zoo, despite that it's a tiny little thing and very bureaucratic, was a great time and great experience for me. Started out just doing basic volunteer stuff, but as time passed and they saw how good I was (and am) with animals and how much I knew and still wanted to know...then it moved up to 'unofficial keeper training'. Too bad the place went into mega bureaucrat mode...
Yes, zookeeping is mostly cleaning up. That is a fact with any animal collection. But the great animal encounters and interaction you get once in a blue moon are more than enough to make up for everything else. :D

Thank you, April. :D For the compliment, and the guess. I'm pretty certain that you are right, though. I'm so anxious to get better pictures of him. Your snakes are all very lovely to look at. And, you having so many pictures of them is inspiring me to want more pictures of mine! :)
Re: to those of you who have a large boa
Yeah I love taking pictures. I've got several hundred on my hard drive.. just of the snakes! I only wish my BP.net gallery were bigger. :)
