Excuse you! :taz: I think an apology is appropriate here. There is no way he would post his sorrow the way he did if he had done something to his snake and "couldn't admit it." Like many moms have always said, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

Sevirus669, I am so sorry for your loss. Clearly, he was a VERY special snake. The fact that he actually CAME to your hand is so wonderful. Hang in there and ignore the dumb comments. I hope you get another BP and stick around to see what a great website this can be.

Yes, please stick around. Don't judge us all by one person's insensitivity.

It's a really neat thing that he came to you like that. Remember the good stuff, it may help the hurt go away.

yeah "accidentally" killing your ball python and then making a post about it's demise is a good idea.

Apparently apathy and bad grammar go hand in hand!

I am very sorry for your loss. I lost my favorite snake a while back and when I started a post most were sympathetic but there is one in every bunch :(
You may never find out what happened exactly but the reality is that won't bring her back.

When you are ready you can get a new baby. Life is full of ups and downs and even though you are down now, one day things will be up again.

I lost my albino girl Athena and this year at Daytona I got a new albino girl (My wifes idea) and I'm really glad I did. I hope the pain passes soon and happier times come fast :D

Very sorry to hear about your loss. I hope someday you will get another ball python. After keeping snakes for a couple of years now, I can't imagine not having one around.

No Matilda no one "had" to say anything like you've done so far in this thread. First off, you are making broad assumptions and accusations about a member and a situation you have no real information on. Comments such as "u guys just don't have balls" will get you in trouble here as insults to members aren't well tolerated (plus using that wording is just silly....I've got 18 balls actually and that's a small collection compared to others on BPNet).

Perhaps it's time to sit back and think how you would feel should your snake suddenly pass and you were treated as you are treating the OP.

So sorry for your loss :(

My first BP was a CH and she was beautiful and so tame and sweet. I didn't have her for more then 2 months though, she never took food and ended up passing on. I know how you feel, and I hope your loss doesn't keep you from sharing your life with any more of these lovely animals.
