Beautiful twins. I love genetic stripes and it is definatly on my wishlist. I am also interested in their weights as I have heard that twins tend to be small. I was reading someone's breeding season results and one of their twins was VERY tiny. Hopefully yours will put on some weight and grow to be kick a** adults.

Genetic Stripes are on my list of must have.

Thats a really good question. In my limited experience I'd venture to guess YES but in which way it's inherited I don't know. Maybe RR has some input on that?

I think Mark was right on money with most if not nearly all NOT being a single embryo that spits. I say that because I've yet to see identical twins. I hatched on a pair this year and they were they same sex but not identical.

Another question I'd like to ask to someone with some genetic skillz is. If someone does in fact produce identical twins and there from a clutch of Heterozygous by normal breeding, are the twins genetically identical? If one proves to be heterozygous will the other sib prove to be as well?

Sorry just thinking aloud. Nice stripes by the way

I didn't weigh the G Stripes but I would guess that they were around 40 grams each when they hatched. They have had some meals so I will weigh them today and see what they are at. That is cool Larry that yours were the same sex also. To answer your question what I am going to do with them I am not sure quite yet. I have always loved the G Stripes. Hatching them was a awesome experience!
