White snake maker is mojo x mojo, lesser x lesser, fire x fire and if im correct any combo of these? I have a questionable male who I wont have the chance to breed until next yr as all my females are 06's/07's that looks similar to yours. Not as dark but the pattern is very similar.

Many people on here believe this guy has some relation to a cinny or a mojo... not too sure which one it is but itll be fun proving him out.

So what chracteristics do you look for in the pattern to make one think it may be a key in producing white snakes? Ha did that make sense?

Things I've noticed that you tend to see to some degree or another in the various hets for the lesser compatible white snake complex (yellow belly and fire aren't compatible) include:

A tendency of the light areas on the side to be pinched off at the bottom by expanding dark areas to form light circles. Maybe not completely closed off but more rounded than normal. Where those dark areas expand on the lower side you see the flames. You may also see fading in the center of the dark areas, especially on the side. You also have a tendency to have a single large or perhaps no alien eyes in the side pattern. They also have a tendency toward white bellies and broad rich dark dorsal pattern elements.

A guy near me proved another white snake maker this year. Frankly I didn't think she had the characteristics strong enough to be likely to prove but she did.

I really like him and I'm going to try to breed my somewhat similar female to a mojave. Definitely breed him. It's just that because he is a male, I don't know if I'd have the guts to risk wasting a very valuable breedable known het white snake female on him. With mine being a female she would be just one extra mate for a proven male, but with your scenario you would need to dedicate a years breeding for a female proven white snake het and that is worth thousands of dollars. But if you have the money to gamble go for it, if not, maybe breed him to a normal the first year and see if you get more babies like him (bet you do) to get more confidence for a better pairing the next year. You could also perhaps get some daughters to start growing up to see if he has a unique homozygous version (assuming he is genetic and a dominant type het, neither known for sure now).
