As a participant, a show like Daytona might feel like fun and games to you...but to the vendors like NERD, it is extremely hard work and constant worry about the well being of their animals that starts long before any customers start walking around, and goes on long after they all go home and go to bed. AND they're doing favors for folks who haven't even spent money with them.....doesn't sound the least bit rude to me, much less "all about the money."

And I've met the employees of Zoo Creatures as well. Some have better people skills than others. But it sounds to me like you were already feeling miffed that Kara couldn't give you her undivided attention and probably let that attitude show through on the phone as well. Maybe instead of critizing everyone else's "problems" in dealing with people, you should look in the mirror first.

once again. you weren't there. they were rude to me. i was nothing but polite to them, completing everything with please and thank you. i understand you all want to defend them, but guess what, they were still rude, and there was no need for it. if they were having a bad time, they arent supposed to let that mix with customer relations. This Forums is here for feedback about this sort of thing, and i am using it as it is supposed to be so GET OFF MY BACK. i'm not blowing anything out of proportion, nor am i trying to make anyone seem worse than they really are. All i was doing was accounting everything that happened into a thread. not "blowing things out of proportion" i have no need to look in the mirror. STOP MAKING ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT MY CHARACTER. I'm probably one of the most polite people you can meet. Ask anyone that knows me. but cross me and i have no reason to give you respect.

ANYWAY...if the question was "what is it?" and her response was "none of your business"... :confuzd: what are you upset about? It's the same answer everyone got.

no. i asked how the show was. make alot of sales? you know, common wind. She could have just said oh it was fine, or w/e not it's none of your business.

No you were a potential customer, who was being done a favor to and had asked so rather less than professional questions.

Yes, the snake delivery was a favor, and i knew the timeline for when i would be able to pick up the snake. they were coming back from daytona on the 20th and 21st, and i was probably going to get her the 22nd, which I did.
So you talked to some one other than the person with whom the agreement was made, got the snake on the day you were told you would, as a favor to another breeder as a non-customer to NERD and your whining cause someone didn't hold your hand or talk to you the way you wanted them to.

    My two cents GROW UP.

Common sense tells you that you don't ask people "make alot of sales" when its really none of your business if they sold one snake or all of them. What were you hoping that she would invite you to coffee and divulge what the sales were like?

Shooting the wind is stuff like "have a good trip", every body have some good new stuff this year?

isn't this an assumption as well about our characters?

There was this air of arrogance surrounding her, and you can tell she looked at me and my friend as if we didn't know what the hell we were doing with the snake.
Isn't that an assumption, covering a subject with someone is not arrogance, you just ASSUMED it was.

In case you have fail to notice Kara has apologized to you, so why not move on.

Well, It's too bad you had a bad experience. As the old saying goes...you can please most of the people most of the time, but not all of the people all the time. 95% of the people on this forum and others have had positive experiences with NERD, and I am happy to say I am one of those 95%.

You, on the other hand, are not....unfortunately. and the way 99% of forums work, the guys who had the positive experiences will post their experience AND defend the people they like....which leads to people getting up set and that leads to "everyone is attacking me"...my advice would be to take it with a grain of salt and move on with your life. ish happens.

I only have one question for the poster. Why all of the responses to people's comments in the thread, but no reply to Kara's response?

sadly, I guess the old saw holds true yet again:

    no good deed goes unpunished.

you got a great snake, shipped in a way that was above and beyond normal procedure, and it arrived on time and in perfect condition.
yet you are online complaining about someone's tone of voice.
    yikes.
