Congratualtions Aleesha, I can only imagine how you feel. However I'm a little disappointed, I'm over 18 so you can't adopt me... and now your daughter is engaged... HOW AM I S'POSED TO WEASLE MY WAY INTO YOUR FAMILY NOW!!! lol. jk. sorta.

Make sure to tell her that your fellow forumites at bp.net wish her the best in a long/happy marriage! I need the address so I can send a mega-size boc of cookies! :D

Oh and btw, what happens down in Mexico, stays in Mexico!:P

Quite good.. still a few things that need deposit money for. We basically have the venue, the justice of peace, and my dress.. the cake, a photographer, tuxes, and this is the best part: my mom and sister are in charge of the shower, not me :) But we have more to do.. limo, dj, we are working on those. We are staying in a hotel the night of, and taking a honeymoon when the snow is flying :)

Congrats!! To you and your daughter! ^_^

It will mean the world to her to have your support....I got engaged at 18. Even though we were planning to wait until after college to actually do it, my mom wasn't real thrilled. She still gave me her best wishes and supported me, which ment so much, even though I knew she wasn't fond of the idea. Turns out, she was right, and we broke it off, but I will always remember that she supported me no matter what, and that's what I remember most from all of that.

    Congrats again! :D
