OH:eek: That really sucks:( I am glad that your insurance is covering the repairs.
We had something similar happen 5 years ago. We had lightning strike the power pole outside of our house and for some reason it triggered my washing machine to the fill cycle. I should mention my hubby and I were out of town and it was monsoon season so the neighbors did not notice. AFTER 43 thousand gallons of water had gone through the house and the rain had slowed down my father in law noticed and turned the water off to the house. Thankfully our insurance covered EVERYTHING right down to clothes that we had ruined!

oh i looooooooooove colour. colour is gooooooooooooood. our house is so full of colour, i love it. cobalt blue and tan living room, dark purple dining room (with antique red mahogony furniture) - bright yellow, dark red and cobalt blue in the kitchen (yup that's the colours of the cupboards!) - 30ft mural of a sunset from living room all the way down the hall to the bedrooms. bright yellow bathroom. gorgeous deep red entranceway... paler red bedroom, voilet bedroom (kids room)... and that's just the upper floor of the house!

    go for COLOUR!!!

*drops her $2 into the pot as she leaves the room*

Gosh I'm right there with you...yet sadly this darn house is still white on white (well whats left of the almost white carpet after having a 2 year old in the house lol) Although her bathroom is an unfinished bright pink...I'm covering that..not even going to finish it...I'm a jewel an earth tones girl so the bright pink is killing me...I cant wait to paint our place darn it!!!

Yeah tell me about it lol. That with the blue painters tape sends me into a flashback every time I step foot in that room LOL. I had this awesome idea at the time...then had a hard time actually making it happen so gave up..being that was last April I really should paint the poor childs bathroom already...I've also had the paint for her nursery since I was 7 months pregnant...now that she's 2.5 I think its time to forget the baby colors and move on..sheesh I need motivation! lol.
