I was going to comment on all the young whipper-snappers around here, but you win the prize for most... experienced. ;)

My first concert was the Rolling Stones-Tattoo You tour. My favorite concerts were probably the US Festivals (1 and 2) in Southern California. One of the coolest concerts I've been to was Oingo Boingo who played in an amusement park in Santa Clara. Danny Elfman can JAM. :carrot:

    Wow!

    First...say YES to GWAR! lol
And MC Hammer....gosh, that brought back some memories....ahhh, looove the 80's! Same goes for Oingo Boingo!

LOL, Judy, I had a crush on Shaun as well, wasn't quite old enough to know what that meant at the time, though ;)

I am bowing down to the Jan & Dean, though.
    That's true classic greatness!

    Ted Nugent.

Also saw Head East, but I really don't remember anything about that concert. Didn't remember anything about that concert the next day. :(

These were in the late 70's.

These days when I can't remember a concert the next day, its because I'm old.

First "official" big name concert...Natalie Cole "Unforgettable"

But I had been and have been to untold number of bluegrass and folks concerts and festivals, symphonies, operas, ballets, musicals....so...not sure what to count...

Boy am I glad there have been some oldies posted so I don't feel all alone. :)

My first concert was Blood, Sweat and Tears quickly followed by the original touring group for Jesus Christ Superstar. Both were at Florida State when I was in my freshman year.

My first was the Tea Party! Great show back before they were big.. lousy b/c my stupid ex at the time was slammed into by some big lady and started crying!! I just focused on the show after that.. they must have had 100 different instruments involved.. They played with the Headstones, who rocked!!
Before that I had seen various family/friends' bands, not sure if that counts..
My last concert was Slayer!! WOW was it awesome to be up in front of the pit!
Another memorable one was Type O Negative and Coal Chamber in the late 90's.. awesome too, and I got a CC guitar pick!
Has anyone else seen Marilyn Manson live? I also saw Nine Inch Nails in the late 90's.. but had the crappiest stadium seats for both of these.. :(
