OMG Wolfy thank you so much for sharing that story. :8: Animals and kids, our lives would be so much more dull without them in it.

Okay, so it was a deal. I've said before I'm a pet groomer. I used to groom cats(and as a side note, I'll be grooming cats come May 1 when I start my new job, closing my own shop). As you might imagine, the cats are not usually very happy about being groomed. Especially not when grooming entails shaving said cat. But hey, it's a persian, and it's matted, it needs to be shaved, so I shaved it, over the strenious objections of the cat. Not being gifted with a voice to articulate rational english language arguments, he used his more specialized form of argument. He used the sharp pointy bits of his anatomy. During this enlightened discussion, I happened to nick his skin, under one of his little furry arms. It was on the order of 1/4 inch nick, but in cats, you don't ever just leave it. The skin is soo stretchy that it can expand into a larger opening, so you do what a vet surgeon would do, and you superglue it shut. (Side fact: Super glue was originally designed to be a surgical glue, and is stillused as such, including in vet applications) The vet that was next door tome also was aware of this stuff, and had approved it as proper thing to do.
Now... the cat had NOT improved in temper at this point, and had also unfortunately not gained the english language so he was still fighting and swatting and biting, as I tried to get a droplet of glue onto the teeny cut UNDER the cat, which I did, then I did the quick pinch motion to seal the nick. I've done it a hundred times before, but this time... the fingers stuck. So now... I'm glued firmly to a angry cat, that was angry before I glued myself to it, and personally... I think he wasn't in a great mood even before I started shaving him. I think he was a naturally grumpy cat myself.
So I was glued to him, and he was happily eating my hand and arm, and eventually I got loose, by peeling the skin off my thumb. I put away the cat in a cozy cage with a thick nice towel to lie on, none of which he appriciated, and then went to the vet next door to get betadine to clean all the bites and scratches. Having been known as a very skillful cat groomer, they immediately stopped spaying the dog on the surgical table to ask "What the heck happened to you?" And I replied(totally honestly, and distracted by the fact that I was bleeding) "I just glued myself to an angry cat."
The vet had to wait a good five minutes before she could resume the surgery. And thus... the 'Glued to a Cat' story was born.
I've also experianced alien face-hugger cat. I've walked around with kittens in my bra, and had a puppy that thought it was a kangaroo and my purse was its mother's pouch. It's a weird existance.

Oh lordy Wolfy I thought I had some goofy job-related stories (I've done some rather "odd" jobs) but that my dear takes the cake! I'm still laughing my butt off and you win the "made Jo laugh so hard, coffee went up her nose" award! :winner:
