Ok I pulled a favor don't know how much it'll do but I can try.

I called my uncle Denny Bartel hes a Senior Supplier and VP for the Exxon Mobil co. in Huston. Basically he owns 35% of the oil wells and rigs that supply Exxon. He said that what the Gov. said at dinner a week of so ago is that they are trying to cut down on the number of illegal black market flea markets that go on in less populated areas. I voiced our concerns and ask if he could do anything. These were his words. "Ed as soon as I hang up I will call Rick and pass on that this is something that is opposed by thousand in other states and that he should urge law makers to consider this in extent before making a decision" he also said if he can do any more let him know.

I love my Denny now.

I believe that they are automated email responses as I received the very same responses from those representatives. Hopefully the herp community has made a large enough impact to these officials so this bill will never see through.
