It's definitely a part time job. Maybe full time now that I think about it. LOL.

Had a question. The Rabbit hutches how big are they is that where you pull the pregnant females out of and than move them to the other racks. I am thinking of building something similar and trying the method of pulling the females when they were pregnant. I seem to need larger sixzes so I need some easy way to raise them to size while still producing pinks and weanlings. ANy help would be great.

    Buddha,
I fI remeber right, the are about 14 1/2 inch deep by 13 1/2 inch high by 42 inch long. We have done some harem breeding in them, and pull the females when they get pregnant, but my wife doesn't like that way too much, and will be ending the harems soon. However, this rack does make a great rearing area. Let me know if you have any more questions.

As the average ize of the snake in my collection has been increasing. I have had problems devising a rack to raise up the rats in. I hate wasting a few breeding trays to raise up rats for feeding or future breeding. I have been looking at getting some of the deeper cement tubs. But I had to purchase the old home depot ones at Ace hardware. They were almost twice the price. ANd the deeper ones are more expensive than that. So I was looking for another alternative. I already have the wire rack you are using I would just have to use one of the ones with the longer legs. . I would just have to buy the cages. So cost would be comparable.
