We've never had a problem with the meter readers, but then again our meter isn't fenced in with the back yard.

I must say though the first time I saw the UPS guy running back to his truck was simply hillarious!!! :bolt:

Totally LMAO for reals. I think he might have gotten a little embarrased also! :8:

I have quite a few good mannequin stories, The 1st mannequin we acquired was a lrg. full figured, somewhat masculine female mann.. We brought her home and set her up in the living room. I put her in a mans shirt with one arm stuck up in the air.At the time we were living in the inner city slums due to the fact that we were not ready to buy and I refused to part with my dogs. That night I went to the bar, had a few drinks forgetting all about the manniquin at home.
When I arrived home the only light in the livingroom was the street light shining thru the door. Just a small amount of light hit the mannequin catching my eyes, seeing the upraised arm I thought someone was attempting to stab me. I staggered backwards, fell and was doing a crab crawl across the floor before it dawned on me it was only a mannequin. Sober real fast!!

Next one for you. :D I was being loaded into an ambulalance after being overcome by fumes from a faulty furnace, when a paramedic just arriving on the scene asked if anyone else was in the house. I told him I was alone, but could he rescue my cat. When he entered the house we heard screaming and saw him fall backwards from the doorway. He was not expecting anyone being in the house and upon entering the front door came face to face with a party going on of about 8 mannequins dressed in suits and dresses. Startled him so bad I'm sure he was the running joke of the day back at the hospital.

DITTO! My father and I used to go out on the front porch and watch the storms when I was little. My mother always freaked out because she could not stand stomes. I love 'em!

I'm alone at least a night a week when Ryan has duty and has to stay on the ship. I'm pretty okay by myself. Sleep well.
This apartment does have it's sounds, not nearly as bad as the farmhouse I grew up in.

The cats will watch things that aren't there, especially Cooper. Drives me nuts.
