    hey vaughn, what if i put heat tape on the hot and cold side of each tub and controlled them with two seperate thermostats??

    would that work in my basement with 70 as the ambient temp?

    i don't think so, with the ars and fb style racks. they are designed to be "open air" and ventilate alot. the heat would be lost. you might be able to cover most of the vents, but this would defeat the purpose of this style of racks. heating the basement would be best imo, or at least make a small insulated room.

    ok well what about a melamine rack for example. would the basement ambient temperature be too low for a more "closed" rack system?? would i need a heater either way??
