    Thanks, DD!

The tables were turned...this time *I* was thinking it might be something kinky  ;)

Nice BP's- the second snake is really stunning- so flashy- is that a certain type of morph?

    Hey Junko,

Nah I'm trying to be all "family friendly" on this forum.

No apparently she's ( I think have'nt probed yet) just a nice normal.

Her colours have become more normal now - someone suggested it was due to the yolk in the egg but I haven't been able to find anything else about that.

I do know the hatchlings were undersized [which might be relevant] - after her second shed she is still only 48g empty. She was a tricky eater though but now eats rat scented fuzzy mice fine. Only one more to get eating reliably then I can decide which one I want to keep and sell the rest. :)

My photography skillz are woefully lacking but here's a quick one of her tonight to show how much her colour has changed.

I have only the 2 with donuts and still can't decide which one to keep - the sexing might play a major part in that I suppose. I dont think either pattern is abberant enough to justify keeping purely on that alone - no matter how cute I happen to think they are.

Thanks! yeah I'm lucky to have him/her... I love rescueing and adopting ball pythons that need good homes. Makes me feel good knowing I've made a difference in their lives.

I'll get some belly shots later. Well he/she is definetly more beautiful in person... Although smaller than it looked in the pictures it's about 3.5ft long and weighs in at 1200grams. The animal is 4 years old and has been on 2 mice every other week. I'm going to work on switching it over to small rats... and getting it's weight up. It's just a little underweight. As far as sex is concerned I will be having it probed today after I get out of work. :)

I know exactly what you mean ... there was a point in my life about 9 years ago or where I would drive around on the weekend to every pet store that I could find and buy up all their ball pythons if they didn't have them set up properly ... I placed probably well over 100 ball pythons into great homes after getting them back on track and always felt very fulfilled saving a snake from certain doom AND giving someone a new pet for free ... the down side was that no matter how much money I spent on vet exams, meds, and surgeries the occasional loss of an animal that was too far gone took it's toll on me ... rescuing animals is a hard road to go down, but one that can be very rewarding.

it was confirmed a male last night... As was the other I rescued. My friend that was interested in the first large male also wants this one. We've already agreed to a very fair price and he will be picking them up tonight. Both appear to be very healthy and haven't shown any signs of illness. I have given him caresheets as well as links to many informative forums and websites as well to ensure that he's up to date on information on care and husbandry. He currently has a setup for each ready to go with proper heat/humidity already on for there arrival. :)

Thanks, I just want to see these animals get the care that they deserve. It feels good helping animals go to a good home rather than passing by ads and just letting them end up in the wrong hands or even worse back into the wild!! :O

I just want to make a difference. :)
