Re: Do you name your BPs?
I only name my first and my spider. Odin came with his name and the Male spider is "Peter Parker"
Re: Do you name your BPs?
All like, 20 of em - it gets difficult after a while! When it comes down to it, even though most of them are breeders/breeders to be, they are all my babies, too!

Re: Do you name your BPs?
we have a lot of our critters named. all our snakes and tarantulas, birds have names. our anoles, frogs and many of the fish do not.
some fish... who have real personality do have names though. ;) we have over 200+ fish... so it would be a little hard to name and remember their names :P
Re: Do you name your BPs?
All of mine have names except my pleco fish.
The Snakes are
Houdini - Used to be an excellent escape artist but not anymore hehe
Icecube- Cause she was almost frozen when I rescued her. Her previous owner threw her in a pillow case, strapped her to his bicycle and road across town in 30 degree weather to drop her off at petco. I then rescued her.
The Geckos are
Bonnie and Clyde, Clyde turned out to be female and kept the name Clyde. It fits her whole demeanor.
The Fish are
Bruce - Red Betta I wont say what Hubby calls him but to our son his name is Bruce
The African Dwarf Frogs are
Little Shaun after my husband Shaun They both have missing limbs lol
The other three frogs I can't pronounce their names due to the fact that my 2 year old daughter named them, I still don't know what their names are but they have them according to her.
Re: Do you name your BPs?
Hi,
I always named all my pets so far - even if it was only a rude word they made me shout. At the moment I have;
Royal pythons;
Cleopatra - well we all have one, my first ( and still fave :wuv: )
Salome - my "big" girl , originaly named sal cos I thought it was a boy
Herman - named by my boss ( ryming slang - herman boring) . He has the sweetest nature but seems functionally retarded even by snake standards.
Natasha - tight ,bright and recently full of s*ite. occasionally thinks I'm lunch.
hatchlings - "ooo" , "goo" and "2dice"
corn snakes;
[jedi mind trick]
Amy - amelanistic female ( move along nothing to mock here)
Sid - normal male ,hissing sid :oops: ( this is not the idiot your looking for)
[/jedi mind trick]
house snake - housie, it was that or weebs ( wee broon snake)
tarantula;
Afka - named for a friend of mine who is also a beautifull female with legs that just won't quit.

Re: Do you name your BPs?
All of my 5 cats, 3 dogs, 11 parrots, rabbit, chinchilla, tortiose, 3 scorpions, 2 snakes, and 32 tarantulas have names, and I can reel them off at any time. My pets are my children, and I can't imagine anyone having to many human children to name them.
Re: Do you name your BPs?
I name my snakes in order to make it easier to differentiate. Each slot in the rack has the name of the snake i that tub on it; or else I actually forget and have to open up every drawer until I find who I am looking for! it also helps when Mark and I discuss them: "Ginger needs a rat tomorrow" or "LaVey is in shed."
