I feel for you, Bill! We had a storm in nearby Buffalo a few weeks ago (I am sure you all saw the media coverage of that!) Though we only got a few inches here in Sticksville, it devastated my family's yards (fallen trees everywhere; they all still ahd leaves and were weighed down/snapped branches from the snow.) We have none lingering now; actually had temps in the 60s today, but it is coming.. and it'll be a bad winter, I know it..!

i drove thru bufflo a week after that happened to go salmon fishing in the oak orchard river. what a mess everyones yard looked like a lumber yard downed trees piled 10 feet high..

I enjoy the snow, but I'm not that thrilled about the cold.
The coming winter hasn't bothered me too much this year...I'm looking forward to downhill skiing season.
