Impressive bit there, Jamie! How startling was it? I keep trying to imagine my first bite, and would like to think I'd accept it calmly (relatively speaking...LOL)...but reflexes can be a bear to bypass!

It was startling and fast enough that I pulled away hard causing more damage. :)

I figured as much. I'm guessing that no matter how much I "mentally prepare" myself, it would probably take many bites worth of experience to get over that reflex.

Darn Jamie she finally got you!!! I'm still waiting for one of mine to flip on me or smell ratty hands. On a seriou's note everybody theres no comparison betwwen a bp bite and a 8ft boa bite.

well fortunately i haven't felt either and hope to be one of the few who never do!
