    Everyone,

I must resurrect this thread due to the fact my experience does not warrant another thread. LOL, here we go........................

Right now in New York it is approximately 1:15am and I am laying in bed doing homework (college statistics BTW) and out of nowhere I hear:

Tttthhhrrrt Ssssplattt!! :O  (three days after feeding of course) :O

  What the H is going on out there? So I run in the living room with my flashlight and there she was, one of my younger BPs letting it rip all over the glass in her enclosure! What the Heck is going on in there? I just sanitized that tank yesterday!! Come on :( . Not only was it a flatulence to reckon with but she also left me the greatest of gifts across the glass, wow.

LOUD, OBNOXIOUS, STINKY AND CONTAGIOUS.........Just kidding! :P
I am done now, I just wanted to share, homework is done, goodnight!!

Cleo let another rip the other day (since this thread has been resurrected). She had been needing to poo for a while and I was walking through the living room where the vivs are and she was finally poopying! Yay! While in the act, she turned her head slightly and "pfft!" Cute, little dainty fart...

Comfortable going in front of me or commentary about her keeper? Who knows, but lordy it was adorable. =)

    Cass,
I think we all just need to go to sleep tonight. Long weekend is my excuse, I got to sleep in for two days in a row. Now I am going to be shot for three days because I can't fall asleep tonight.

LOL, the fart thing is out of control. I have kept assorted reptiles including geckos, snakes, lizards so on and so forth. But until tonight I have not actually saw the aftermath "fresh" like that. I usually clean it in the morning but I kind of witness this cataclysmic event unfold. Ha ha, I HAD to clean it immediately, it was disgusting.

Danny, I live in California. It's not that late here. =) And Cleo has only "soiled" the walls of her enclosure once. She usually goes in one neat pile, somewhere easy to clean.

    Grlz are dainty. =)

Funny I should come across this...

About an hour ago I was bathing my post-hatchling BP, wee baby Carlotta, to pull off some old shed in a 5-gallon Sterilite box. I was splashing her, as she seemed to enjoy it, and she was wagging her tail as she often does (it's soooo cute)... and that's when I noticed that her bum looked a little weird. I lifted her out of the water to check it out, there was a tiny "pfffft" sound-- and then a bullet of snake poo headed for my face. Because she is just a wee baby and does not have the sheer pooping force of an adult, it fell short and landed back in the tub instead of in my eye. And for that, I am grateful.

But I'm glad I saw this. Big manly Julio is renowned for making weird airy squeaking noises in the middle of the night... now I know what it is. Funny, I never imagined that snakes could fart until now.

I've heard that they poo couple days after they've had a feed.... Is that true???.... A girl at the pet shop said she gets her snake to poop outside as she knows roughly when its going to.... thus keeping the enclousure clean & avoid mess... Don't know how true that is!!!!.... Didn't know they were smelly though!!!... s'pose they would be, any poop is unpleasant... She has a Stimpsons python... have you heard of them????
