Jason, if you are against hybrids feel free to voice it. But calling an animal that someone cares very much about using the words that you did is harsh and unwarranted no?

not really. i think their disgusting and thats my part of my opinion. i was in no way bashing him or his snake (not directly), i was just stating that i think hybrids are disgusting, because to me they are. that would be like, someone coming on the site with a void and expecting no one to be disgusted.

It's one thing in a thread about hybrids or what have you to discuss what you think of them as a whole. It's another to do it when someone is just sharing an animal they own and are proud of. There's a time and a place for everything.
Personally, I hate it when people call any of my animals disgusting or when asking me about them immediately respond with "Ugh, I hate snakes!" Or all the dozens of other nasty things people say because they don't like reptiles or think my rabbits are better suited as dinner. It is offensive. Why? Because they're living creatures that I consider to be part of my family and I happen to love them. Not talking species or morph even, but as beautiful living individuals each with their own personality. Even though it's not meant to target my animals specifically, it feels that way.
It's the same as saying "Ew, I hate children" when someone displays a picture of their child, to me. Which is really just appalling, wouldn't you say? Not because it's meant as a personal attack, but because it is disrespectful.
