    Great spider shot, Adam!

    Are you applying any sharpening to the image? How are you saving the final JPEG? Just File > Save or are you using Save for Web (shoot, does Photoshop 6 have that)? What JPEG output options are you using? My reason for asking is you've got some artifacting there that I think we can avoid without increasing the final output size too much.

    I'm running an "unsharp mask" over the image at 150, 1.0, and 10 (read about it in a book) ... Then the pics are just "Save for Web" (Yes, my broke old 6.0 has that :P )

    What is artifacting?

    Adam, sweet pictures, and that Lesser is a smoker. I really want one of those guys, but I think I'm going to have to wait until next year. No budget left, and I haven't even started spending yet.
