Re: PETA/peta2 Rant
Just another cult that brainwashes people who originally had good intentions, into mindless automatons who follow an illogical and uninformed agenda.
The most ludicrous thing I have herd regarding them, is how they say your pet dog/cat should eat a VEGETARIAN diet... there are not words enough for me to tell ya what I think o' that!

Re: PETA/peta2 Rant
My favorite PETA/Vegetarian slogan:
"For every animal you don't eat, I'm going to eat three!"

Oh, and I love animal crackers, best anti-peta product ever!

They have the whole "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch" attitude, they see one sheep getting killed for there wool and feel that every body else is killing sheep. Alpaca should be shorn for there fiber, if not they can over heat in hotter parts of the world. They feel that this is cruel. They truly need to get a clue on life, the forces of nature and the whole "Survival of the Fittest”.
A snake needs to eat. I would love to see them try to force feed or even try to get a snake to eat a salad.
Or take all the dogs and cats in the world that are pets, let them go and see what happens to there “beautiful animal friends”, there little friends would all be eaten. If they did get there way we would all be wearing plastic as clothing, eating our super-sized tofu burger with processed cheese. And living a dull and boring life.
Ok here is a kicker for them. Plants: A living viable creature. To my understanding if you cut a plant it will weep sap or a form of liquid to create a scab like structure over the wound. If cut badly enough it too will die.
It might not feel pain in the way an animal with a brain could but a plant can get stressed, sick, and I think in a way it too can feel pain.
They should think next time before they just slice open that big ripe melon, and ask themselves “could I possibly be abusing this living form?”
I love a good salad, and I really loves me a good thick rare stake.
But PETA really needs to get a clue.
I'm done now.

Re: PETA/peta2 Rant
Ive bee approached by these PETA idiots numerous times at the boat ramp. The ramble on that because we fish we are killing the fish, and our [fisherman's] boats destroy the earth with pollution. Its a load of garbage. We were launching the boat in a few months ago and 4 of those people came up to us trying to pass on flyers they said "Your daddy is a muderer" -a campain to stop fishing because they say fish feel in pain whent hey bite the hook.
Ive seen them dump a guy's catch over the end of the pier when the guy went bAck to the boat for his knife. I truley cant stand them.
One weekend we were fishing and pulled the boat in and they friggin came up to me yelling "because you drive that boat, you set a bad example for other kids." WTF kinda BS is that?
They got on me about my motor [Yamaha 250 vmax 2-stroke] that it pollutes and all that garbage. I left the dock all the way trimmed up and drenched them with about 300 gallons of water when I gunned it.:D

Re: PETA/peta2 Rant
I grew up on a dairy farm and steak, pork chops, roast or a chicken / pheasant / venison was a regular Sunday dinner meal. I can understand the concern and fight against puppy mills, and the veal farms, but come on!!! Do they REAAAALLY think some stock contractor, dairyman or chkn rancher is going to neglect and abuse his animals???!?!!!!!!! NWIH!!!! Those animals are the livelihood of that person. They're going to be cared for or that farmer/rancher and his family is going to starve.
PETA and one of their lunatic offshoots released all the minks at the OSU mink farm....Uhhhh, can U say WEASELS????? Man!! The animal/small pet/family chicken/turkey damages around here were horrendous....PLUS some of the mink became road kill or ended up w/rabies. And they were just "freeing the poor mink from captivity and neglect". Yes, they're wild, but most if not all had been CBB.
Personally??? I'd looooooove to live as my cats, rats, snakes, dog, etc. Warm house, regular vet care, regular (if sometimes over) feedings, soft bed, and lots of WUUUUUUUUUUUVIN'S . SPOILED ROTTEN and loved, groomed, petted every day. Stripe finally died of nothing but old age and her body shutting down. I hope < I > can die as happily!
To quote a fav book....PETA members are nothing more "than a total waste of human protoplasm" *%*%&$&$&&$%&%&* :cens0r:
