Cool cool I am glad you found the info helpfull. Phrags need to stay wetter then paphs and if you get a phrag I hear they do good in what is called Semi-Hydro. Paph do not do well in it, but phrags I hear do. I have a Phrag Sedenii in it and it seems to be doing good, and I have one in a bark LFS mix that is doing ok too. S/H your not suposed to be able to over water plants grown in it and when you repot you do not have to disturb the roots. The only drawback is since you do not disturb the roots they become over grown over time and choke out the plants own root system. Since orchid root require oxygen that can be a bad thing. But still great for a beginer. Just remeber Paphs do not do good in it. The flowers of Sedenii are not long peteled like your looking for but are a nice flower none the less. http://www.orchidspecies.com/phragsedeni.htm
Its not suposed to be on this site because its technicaly a Hybred and not a species, but he has it there so I am linking to his picture.

Here you go April just in case you haven't found one for sale yet. I am not sure how long till the speciman flowers, but you couls ask Mat Gore the owner of this website. I just looked up the one you were wanting and I have to admit that does look nice. I might have to pick one of those up too in a month or two. I already have money setback for a new Tat so orchids are on the back burner. Plus I need to clear out some of the NoIDs I have.

I;m not shure April. You would need to emal Matt. I have limited experience with Paphs. I have a few, but Matt and Lance Burk have LOADS of experience. You can Message Lance on The Orchid Source Forum. Lance had the Largest personal collection of Paphs in the states until his collection was devistated by rust. It wiped out his entire collection. He was heavy in Paph species. I know that the leaf span is what they look for to know if its mature enough to flower. Those guys or someone else with extencive Paph experience could answer that one.

Yeah and there was nothing he could do. Rust has no cure. He couldn't even give any good plants to people to hold for him because rust sporulates and if he gave a seeming ok plant to someone he could have spread the rust to them so he had to do what he could, but it eventualy killed all his plants. Some were irriplaceable. Oh I know its not what your looking for, but look at the newest species of Phrag that was discovered in 2002. They are not available in the states yet because of CITES, but some flasks just came in or will be comien soon and then those will be further bread and gotten ready to sell in the sates.
