I wanted some deck rail shots but these two will have to suffice.

She's been perched for about 3 weeks straight and getting her down typically makes a mess and probably induces stress so I left her alone and snapped a couple photos.

Unfortunately these give zero size perspective and I would actually like to see how much she's grown. I'll try some outdoor stuff ASAP.

Carpets are a somewhat active species and very good display animals.

That's a pro pic. You should be working for National Geographic.

    Its not great but thanks!

    A real camera helps.
This is a different snake but a far better picture.

Different species, but again with something a bit better than the I-Phone 14.

This was an I-Phone though so it all depends. I'm certainly not a photo expert. Lucky shots selected from many failures.

You're being too modest. You've even got a portfolio. It's not easy taking a good picture. I know. My snake's as handsome as yours, but no one can see that because I can't take a decent picture.;)

My buddy JM has a collection to die for so does Zig.

The photos depend on the right lighting and in my case luck.

I’m sure you can get a brilliant picture of your python eventually.

I would actually like to see one.

Australian pythons are generally great animals.
Unfortunately my Brissy is not friendly to some fault of my own.

I don’t take her out nearly enough.

    Thanks for the picture compliments.

Others here have equal and better photos.

I love looking at good snapshots of snakes.

Since you asked. This is my best pic of Wiggles, so, of course, my daughter took it.

This, however, is my favorite picture because it makes me laugh.

    Brisbane Locality Coastal Carpet.
I finally got her out of the cage for some better pictures.

I still can't believe this locale has such vivid coloring. The Brisbane Coastals are incredibly variable in pattern and coloring. These pictures were taken directly under an overhead LED light section with some other lighting on the sides.

This girl seems a bit unique but my buddy has a half brother to her and he's pretty stunning as well.

She seems to be in a growth year. She's a lot thicker and the length is coming on too.

I think I have every one of them up to date with photos this summer.

That girl is a stunner, dude. Agreed, tons of variety especially for a species that in captivity in the states all traces back to only a 1.1 founder pair. Her half brother here has some similarities for sure, but is much more banded than Gem. Meanwhile my female is not banded at all and has almost completely connected lateral stripes down her sides. Love me some southern coastal carpets

This one is a bit different than my departed girl.

A simple cage cleaning moment led to some irritation apparently.

The bite was a back on December 5th. A pre Xmas gift.

If she wasn't so pretty, I'd have been more upset.
