How many people feel this way about snakes in general? I am sure that you don't like when they talk like that about your snake.

ive had rats, guinea pigs, snakes and some other pets and i can say that rats serve no other important purposes except for food. if they arent cb, then they are just dirty rodents that roam around a lot. ive bred rats too

The point is not how you feel about rats but that you are intentionally trying to be offensive on our forum. We are all for a good debate, you don't have to intenionally try to make people mad or be confrontational to make a point. State your opinion w/o calling names, or slamming others please.

That's fine if you don't care for rats, but many people here DO, so please be respectful.

I like rats because they are intelligent, (unlike most other rodents, which I don't care for) affectionate (same as above) and often quite lovely.

    Well, I disagree.

I'm an American.. and I certainly don't consider them filthy, (ok you're right, they ARE little) disease-ridden, or a delicacy. (though I must say, my snakes do, but they don't count, I'm afraid)

We are talking about fancy domestic rats here, not sewer rats.

Yeah, ok.. then filthy and disease-ridden need not apply here. At least it shouldn't.. my rats are neither.
