How'd You Get Your Username?

Such cool stories!
I came up with mine back when I was a kid. If anyone's familiar with pokemon- Lugia was my favorite. Then I added time in front of it since the first website I had a username for was serebi.net and they're mascot is a time pokemon. It's never taken so I've stuck with it ever since.

I know, I'm totally loving these stories!!

We need to make a thread to put a face with these names...I know I imagine what each of you look like (mostly like a Hemsworth of some sort) but it would be fun to see the actuals. Somebody do that!

I know you shouldn’t do this but my username is just my first name. I was born in Israel to an Israeli mother and Elysheva is simply Elizabeth in Hebrew.

Robert Martinez is a very common name so that was out the window LoL
My wife actually came up with the name when we first got WebTV about 25 years ago.
It came from something she really did not like about me in high school.
I loved to fight, probably more than most male teenagers. I didn't go out picking and rarely starting but even if I got beat you knew who I left my mark on. The school we went to in the early 90s is/was when guys thought it was okay to start laying their hands on women/girls..... I had no problem handing my wife (girlfriend at the time) my books. It was to a point that she would just walk away and put them in my locker knowing I would get suspended.
The other side of the name came from my love for the American Pitbull and we have had them in our family for over 20 years. Currently have four females from 2 year to the old girl who will be 10 this year.
Long story short, my wife gave birth to our son and my name.
PitOnTheProwl has been around for a long time and there is no other. :gj:

i named myself after my fav person Axel28. by crazy coincidence, Ax is also the first syallable/pronunciation to my actual name Akson. i grew up using my nickname Billy but reclaimed and started using my actual name Akson in high school. so depeding on when we met, peeps will refer to me as Billy, Ax or Axon. ;)

I work for the post office lmao

Came up with mine back in college. At that point, I was an art major (BFA drawing concentration) and I liked geckos and thought the word "gecko" sounded cool. Thus, my screen name. I have kept it with pretty much every forum I've joined in some form or another. I now own more snakes than geckos, but do still have a few geckos hanging around. I also teach art now, so that part of the name still applies also.
