Just seems weird that they would say 'delivered to agent'. I mean all mine said 'accepted at facility' or 'accepted at post office'. Not an 'agent'.

Hopefully what you said is what happened. Did you opt for extra insurance? I never do but this is making me rethink that if I ever need another Herpstat. Good luck man. Hopefully it gets to you tomorrow.

Well it showed up today, safe and sound. I think they either missed it on the truck or it never got loaded for delivery in the first place.

Well that's good news. Weird though that it said delivered to agent. Who the heck is agent lol.

Left w/ agent is supposed to be for items that get passed to other companies, hand offs to Fedex/UPS kind of deal which isn't used currently but communication is lacking and most carriers probably think it means left with anyone at the address. Glad it showed up anyways. It sounds to me like it got missed somehow and they scanned it delivered to cover.

Speaking of extension cords, I bought a longer (15') cord for the Herpstat power from Monoprice (https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=5279) at Dion's suggestion to avoid having an extra cord to worry about.

I've heard people plug a surge protector into the Herpstat outlet then their heat panel/tape or whatever they use. My Herpstat is plugged into a GFCI outlet, and the Herpstat has built in protection, isn't that enough?

No idea. I've always just plugged mine into either a power strip or the wall. Been doing it for over 4 years and no problems *knock on wood* lol.

LMAO - If I'd known my obsession with snake ownership would be this great I would've just jumped on it then. (looking at a sunglow from a guy in TX now too LOL) Got to start measuring the basement for an official room I guess or just move my safe and have a larger stack in my office.

Haha so true. Heck I still want a female sharp snow bci, Pucallpa Peruvian bcc and now with the Lacy Act lifted, an albino caramel burm.
