    This is such a true story. I'm from Tomball and my dad called today and yeah, he's been having issues getting around some because of the bridges under water. Ahhh, this makes me a terrible person, but when folks have built in the flood plain it amuses me when they freak out when *shocker* the flood plain floods!

    Driving over the trinity is a trip. Seems like a lot more would be under water if not for those embankments, so at least there's that. I am strangely happy to live in a second floor apartment these days.
