That sounds right. How much will you feed him? I usually feed my snakes 10-15% of their body weight but younger snakes sometimes get up to 20%. Rat pups are 20-34g and rat weanlings are 35-49g each on Big Cheese. Sounds like weanlings would be perfect for your guy. Best wishes.

How much do your large mice weigh? She may need 2 of those. Also, do you always feed in a separate tub and not her enclosure? If so, can I ask why?

It's how the pet store always fed her and she is used to it so I just ended up keeping it that way. And can I weigh the mice while they are frozen cause I didn't weigh the one I just fed her.

Ok mice i just weighed them frozen one is 29 grams, one is 14 grams, one is 25 grams, and the other is 24 grams. The mouse I just fed her this morning was close to the size of the one that was 29 grams.

That sounds like a decent meal. Like I said I feed my snakes 10-15% of their body weight per feeding. My younger snakes get up to 20%.

I weigh my snakes every 2-4 weeks. I'd wait until after she poops and weigh her again. I'm not sure what kind of smart phone or tablet you have but there's an app for Android called Reptile Logger DB that's great for keeping track of weight, feedings, cage cleaning etc. Best $2 I've spent in a long time.

She did just poop before I fed her when I weighed her today. I can look up that reptile logger app. I never know when she's going to poop so I could end up feeding her another mouse in like 5 days before she poops again. Probably what I'll do is weigh her every 2 weeks and weigh her right before her feeding.
