    Well, in all honesty, I'd say yes unless you're planning on buying more than, say, a single BP. Also remember that you'll always have expenses that you didn't count on with a new animal (thermometer goes kaboom, new substrate, won't take prey that you offer so you have to try something else) and it's always good to have at least *some* money on hand to cover those things.

    And Marla, I decided to hold out for the one shaped like Liberace, complete with mini-piano shaped gold-plated hidebox. ;)
